We inspire and mentor promising photography talent including amateurs, and professionals craving for learning, polishing, and upgrading their skills and professional photographers turn into creative visual storytellers.
School of Narrative & Aesthetic Photography (SNAP) was established in 2016 by two accomplished documentary and travel photographers, Altaf Qadri and Aarief Hussain to improve photographic education through effective hands-on teaching leveraging the experiences of accomplished photo-industry professionals. Teaching is conducted by the founders of the school and also by esteemed colleagues from other sectors of the industry.
The School's mission is to provide both hobbyists and emerging professional photographers the opportunity to deep dive into the various genres of photography like street, portraiture, photojournalism, travel
and documentary photography with a strong emphasis placed on the acquisition of practical skills.
In addition to short and intensive workshops, long-term learning opportunities and mentorships are available as well.
Please see Expeditions, Workshops, and Mentorship pages for information about our courses, syllabi, and details on how to apply for the next available batch. You can also get in touch with us via the Contact page.
